The Myriad String Quartet will continue the Beethoven string quartet series at St. Luke’s with Beethoven’s quartet op. 18 no. 1 and op. 59 no. 1.
The Myriad Quartet was founded in 2018 by four musicians from all over the world, now based in London. Brought together by a shared passion for the string quartet repertoire, the quartet represents the culmination of vast experience in chamber music from the individual members of the group, ranging from the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme, Domaine Forget, La Rioja Chamber Music Festival and collaborations with members of the Tokyo, St. Lawrence, London Haydn, Takacs and Belcea Quartets. In the short time since their formation, the quartet has established a performing schedule both at home and abroad. They have worked with members of the Chilingirian and Endellion Quartets and are currently participating in the ChamberStudio masterclass series at Kings Place.
